Endometriosis in layman’s terms is a web of growths that multiplies with every menstrual cycle. It will grow starting from the womb and attaching to either the bowl or bladder. Eventually it will form a web net around those organs. The pain experienced is said to be excruciating. The final result if not treated is for the effected section of the colon to be removed, or sections of her womb removed. If that is not bad enough she may loose everything even the possibility of a normal life. Which to any woman is devastating.

Enduring years of suffering with pain which was thought to be linked to normal menstrual discomfort a laparoscopy was done and they found out that she has active Endometriosis which means its at the stage of uncontrolled growth.They went for a second opinion which confimed the diagnosis and was advised that it must be removed urgently and treated thereafter. There is no cure unless drastic measures are taken where she will no longer beable to concieve.
Our plea is for assistance to help give her a fighting chance. Her parents have received all the medical quotes from the health care providers. The total cost for the operation is in the excess of 55K (R55000,00) minimum. Hence our plea to assist.
