The BMW E30 320
The BMW 320i is a 4 door saloon (sedan) style car with a front positioned engine supplying power to the rear wheels. The BMW 320i belongs to the E30 model family from BMW. Its 6 cylinder, single overhead camshaft naturally aspirated engine has 2 valves per cylinder and a volume of 2 litres. In this application it develops power and torque figures of 127 bhp (95 kW) at 6000 rpm and 174 Nm at 4000 rpm respectively. The engine transfers its power through to the wheels via a 5 speed manual transmission. Having a stated weight at the kerb of 1125 kg, the BMW 320i covers the 0-100 km/h yardstick in 11.2 seconds and the kilometre from rest in 32.4 seconds. Maximum claimed speed is 195 km/h .
